Dunsfold, England
Bright Biomethane will soon start the commissioning of the biogas upgrading installation in Dunsfold, England.
The installation is located adjacent to anaerobic digestion (AD) plant, which generates 500 Nm3 /hr biogas from supermarket food waste. Once operational, the upgrading installation will produce 280 Nm3/hr and 2.4 million Nm3 annually, which will be used for injection into the national gas grid, sufficient for keeping roughly 2200 British families warm.
This PurePac Medium installation comes in a 40 ft container, including membrane filtration modules, control panel and a biogas analysis system. Active carbon filters, cooling skid and a compressor are placed outside the container. The installation can be in the future extended with a liquification system to produce food grade quality CO2.
