Bright Biomethane constructed a PurePac Arctic biogas upgrading system that facilitates production of biomethane from biogas, which is produced from various waste residues.
This system produces 415 Nm3/hr of biomethane from 640 Nm3/hr biogas, but can be extended by adding additional upgrading membrane modules to produce more biogas.
The produced biomethane is directly injected into the natural gas grid and supplies Finnish households with green gas, used for cooking and heating.
