Merselo, Netherlands
Bright Biomethane upgraded an existing microferm plant in Merselo with a biogas to biomethane upgrading system.
By separating methane from carbon dioxide, the installation produces 40 Nm3 of biomethane per hour, which is injected into the national gas grid. The annual production of 320,000 Nm3 biomethane is equivalent to the average yearly gas consumption of 220 Dutch households.
The installation is equipped with a chiller and THT injection.
